upward mobility

middle class creation myths make
blood feel conveniently poisonous
/ an ode to the benefits of  hard
work   if you  live in  a dream /
you  can just float up like a cloud
of  white  smoke . new  rich kids
go to high school  on television
to  have their   fun . understand  that
scandal  is local  to  their
bodies and every other  life is
secret or otherwise obscene/ that
there have been enough exercises
 in   pity.

a birthday poem

or means of affection, otherwise
for atcr:

i make you out of words
first,
by necessity / from - memory:

there are letters tucked in
              - to the curve of my neck
        gaps in my spine
& sometimes
between my
fingers or lips
or thighs,
    even.
or          nowhere,
as points close to me
as you are
— far away -
tend to be.
and I speak
your native silence

the youth are teeming w complaints about the youth i guess

how easily can single words make you cringe and can you tell me why?
media can melt in your mouth bt where does that thin film go when it's done on your tongue. your front teeth have the tendency to pry it away but

otherwise i like to imagine it doing this slow wet crawl down your throat so you just barely feel like you're consuming something and you can let your body forget to digest. when your canine teeth (top & bottom) meet through the pink of your inner cheek you are bleeding your fears and they swish red around your mouth

and no one will ever not want something from you

can you imagine as many sensations as you can feel at once?
& be full of sound but know why you are? & do you know where you'll be when you learn how to be out of style
